Bed Bugs

November 18, 2008 We had a free day today. It was nice to sleep in and have time to ourselves today. When I woke up this morning I saw that my body was covered in bug bites. I’m pretty sure that my bed had bedbugs. My hands are especially covered with bites. They are extremely itchy and swollen. I knew that this place was a little gross before but now I know for sure. I’ve never had anything like this happen to me. I’m really upset about it because I don’t think that it’s too much to ask that our beds be bug free. There’s another person from our group that has a bunch of bites too. So, it’s not just me. It makes me feel really dirty that I’ve been sleeping in a bed with bugs. I hope that our next guesthouse is a little cleaner. I will keep a positive attitude until then.
